Rainbows End Trip @2020 Tahliyah

Hi my name is Tahliyah and I will be Taking you through my trip to Rainbows End. The people that went to rainbows end with me were the whole of the year sevens at pt england school. Why we went to rainbows end is to celebrate the end of the year. because the year 8’s went to camp. We went to the rainbows end.  And it was really fun because we went on a lot of rides with our friends' support team and our whanau that came to support us and give up their time at home to come and be with us. 

It was so much fun being at rainbows end because we got to go on some of the rides that we really enjoyed and some of our most favourite rides accept one of them and it was the fear of fall. Why it was closed was because it was due to the weather forecast and so they closed it.

But even though we had a really great time on the rides.

 But it was really fun because I went to the log flume, power surge, bumper boats, invader , gold rush, And much more but my favourite one was the invader and the bumper boats. And we even  went on a few more rides on our favorite ride because we had one of the best teachers ever So I would like to thank all those lovely parents ,Older cousins , brothers And our support team and most of all and beautiful staff team That came with us thank-you to our principal that gives us that opportunity to go.

It turns out he faked.

At night he had a stomach ache

Then he seen jack

kia ora My name is Tahliyah and I will be taking you back to the start of the week on the 12 th of october and what all the teams are doing for our new korero Art alive Which is our new korero for this term which means we will be doing art for the term here are what the other teams are doing with there art.

Team:1 What Team one is doing for Art alive is focusing more about trying diffrent things around trying to do with there art is to try out diffrent portrait's and dressing up like them and taking photo's and studing about famous portrait's and famous painters and Taking photo's to try and look like them.

Team:2 What team Two is doing for there  Art alive  well what There also doing is Looking at diffrent Portrait's and trying to paint and to do peoples faces of pacifica art and also learning about shapes with the rangoli powder and they just make shapes and they will also learn symmetry.

Team:3 What team Three is doing for Art alive is Tie dying with water guns and making background and make diffrents paintings and making beautiful tie die backgrounds and just squrting diffrent colour's and making a rainbow and specks of white paint on the top of the painting and they were also just mixing diffrent colour.

Team:4 What team Four is doing for Art alive is culturel patterns so not just one culture it's all the cutures that they could think about and making diffrent designs and also making colourful and diffrent art work and that really sounds so fun. Have fun Team four!

The watcher Of The South 2020 Animation

Hi everybody This is my an Animation which is all about the myth called the Watcher of the South. This is a myth from South Africa that Ms Tapuke from Rm 2 taught us. And So This myth is about 2 gods and a son and his creation amongst the ocean and the sea dragon wanted to fight the son of the two gods and so he got jellous and wanted to fought fight with him and so he got really hurt. and so his mother came to his aid and granted him four giants and so as they slowly die they ask the son mum to turn them into a moutain and the moutain that still lives untill this very day is called Table mountain.Hope you enjoy Thank-you.

Maori launguage moment 14/09/20

 In 1972,  30 Thousand signatures were deliverd to parliament To safeguard the Maori and so Today to mark the maori launguage we  sing a maori waiata to support all of those people that wernt allowed to speak the own launguage and so to support what had happend we sing a song.

And here are three reasons the maori launguage needed to be protect 

1. I think they needed to do what was right for there ancesters and to be able to speak there own culture that is more than vulebal than anything in the world to be able to speak and understand your culture.

2. And I think they should keep the launguage and To be able to teach the the moari launguage is not dead and that the launguage is still alive. and so than it would be disrespectful that the maori people are not allwed to speak the own culture. 

3. And the prime languge to ensuere that te reo would be valued and used in the future. Kia kah te reo maori

Writing about this morning 2020

                              10 higlights 

 - This morning we heard from our year seven/ yr 8 leaders that are talking about some of there highlights

-Number one they talked about leadership helping others cheering    them on and team work and having alot of fun togther and just working as a team and others steping up beacause it is a step up  program. 

The year 8's leaders highlights were comeing out of the cofort zone and just being a strong team working togther and haveing alot of fun and just wactching other people steping up to make it work for them
