WALT: plan for our writing

When we plan, we need to think about:

• Who our audience is.
• How we are going hook this audience in - how are we going to capture their attention in a creative way?
• How we are going to create a description of the event which makes our audience feel like they were at the event too.
• How we are going to keep our audience interested as they read.

Step 1: Brainstorm.

What you could include:

• Descriptive words
• Ideas for a hook
• Key things you can remember from the assembly
• What you enjoyed
• What made you laugh

On a sunny beautiful morning we went to the hall because it was  the first day  back from  the Holidays and I saw the Teachers wearing some Funky hair. Team 1 played a game of snap and they  were also acting to different  songs  and dancing  well  they were cleaning up. Team 2 did a song about  the lions in the Jungle and they sang  fast. Team 3  was doing things that  was all about  music. Next was  team 4s when they went in the car.  They were singing and it was Funny when they were singing. Next was team 5 were so funny when they acted to be scared when the movie was playing and Miss T  was saying that is not a kids movie and the was called the lion king.
