Just keep swimming

First we were  getting ready for swimming but we were taking so long then we only  got a short time of swimming. when we got there then we were talking  then miss buchanan had to say stop look and Listen then we were warnt talking anymore.  then they were talking about river safety,  how to tread water, how to know if there is a current.

Next we were swimming then when we  were talking about hypothermia is all about getting  warm and these are some of the facts about getting warm setting next  to the fire, cover yourself in the hot sand, having a hot shower, then going in warm clothes so you don't get hypothermia.

In the end we were really lucky to go into the big pool and to do a swimming race and jayah came 1st and I came  2nd

And I felt so happy and glad that we got to swim.

Dictation race

All about me

Kia ora my name is Tahliyah and I am 8 years old.  My school is pt england  and I am a year 5.  I am learning to study and work hard to achieve what I want  to be when I  grow up.                     

My favorite thing is family time and I also like to read  like my Sister I like to play sports and my favourite  sports is netball and Touch.  my culture is cook island and Maori Tahitian. The oldest  in my  family is jhorme Iti  aramanielle  Terry than me kiah then my little Brother . my little Brother just started yesterday at school

My favorite color is blue black and Purple and my Favourite thing to do is go out to the beach 

because  the sand is nice and hot and the water nice and cool.  the sand goes through  your feet in between your toes.

Bus Trip

Shade was waiting for the bus to arrive. He was waiting for a hour. Finally the bus arrived he went on the bus.Then the bus stop.Oh no I went on the wonrg bus I was supposed to go to Auckland. He called his mum. l can't go to Auckland mum. ok I will come and pick you up.
